Nowadays pulsed X-ray apparatuses are widely used in medicine, non-destructive testing and security systems. The X-ray sources based on pulsed nanosecond voltage generator, compact sealed X-ray tube with the cold cathode and detector with intensifying screens have great advantage over competitors. Such systems decrease necessary dose by 10-20 times comparing with similar complexes based on continuous X-ray radiation.
Creation of a small-sized high-frequency pulsed acute-focus X-ray source and demonstration of the possibility of creating low-dose pulsed computed tomography systems, the study of moving objects with a spatial resolution of 0.5 mm and a pulse repetition rate of up to one kilohertz.
