Portable monoblock 24-channel seismic station "Sinus" is a small-sized energy-efficient hardware and software complex designed for solving geophysical problems. In terms of its technical characteristics it is not inferior to similar devices of domestic and foreign production.
Field observations do not require a computer or other control unit. In terms of power consumption, it is the most economical device in its class. The autonomy of the device provides for its normal operation in northern latitudes at temperatures below to -30 ° C.
"Sinus" is successfully used to perform seismic exploration by the methods of refracted and reflected waves, in seismic microzoning, in the study of interwell space, in seismic tomography, in mine variants of seismic studies. The depth of research using the simplest mechanical impulse source of elastic vibrations, such as a sledgehammer, can reach 100 meters or more.
