The sub-new varieties bred independently by Daqing Branch of Heilongjiang Academy of Sciences were registered and approved by the Heilongjiang Provincial Crop Variety Committee in early 2011 for promotion. This variety has the advantages of high yield, drought resistance, salt-alkali resistance, lodging resistance and disease resistance, and is a new high-yield and high-resistant variety that is urgently needed in production. After three years of regional trials in the province, the average hectares of raw stem, long fiber and seed yields were 5189.4 kg, 821.4 kg and 652.7 kg, respectively. The excellent traits were stable. The comprehensive traits are better than those currently promoted in domestic varieties, and its high yield, disease resistance and salt-alkali tolerance are better than foreign varieties.
